UDHAMPUR, 19th OCTOBER: Secretary-Commissioner of Revenue Vijay Kumar Bidhuri today paid an in-depth tour of Udhampur district and participated in the Jan Abhiyan program in Tikri organized in anticipation of the return to the village program (fourth phase ).

He added that digitization is imperative to streamline revenue registers and make revenue registers easily accessible to the public through online platforms. He added that educational institutions are the best platforms to sensitize different governments. systems, in particular the online accessibility of land registers.

He advised all heads of educational institutions to sensitize students on the availability of land records on the portal of Land Records Information System – https://landrecords.jk.gov.in/, so as to that they can easily access land records and spread awareness. among the deep masses in rural areas.

He urged the officers of relevant departments to implement the projects in letter and spirit in the district.

He called on the population as well as the PRI to come forward to take advantage of the various schemes and programs launched by the government.
