UNLV and Entain Launch New Online Executive Education Program on Gaming Laws and Regulations


the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) announced a new online training program for executives on gaming laws and regulations William S. Boyd School of Law launches on January 10, 2022, in partnership with a global gambling operator hear.

This new online program is designed for operators, suppliers, regulators and non-lawyers working in the gaming industry, and attendees are not required to hold a law degree required to practice law in international markets in order to register.

These programs will be mostly asynchronousand will launch during the first and second quarters of 2021. They are created and taught by instructors with decades of professional gaming and teaching experience. The program will eventually consist of eight courses designed to prepare professionals for the sophisticated regulatory and operational challenges facing the gaming industry, according to UNLV.

New courses include:

Other courses under development include “Public Policy and the Comparative Study of Gaming Laws and Regulations” and “The Legal and Operational Environment of Sports Betting”.

Designed to be completed over three monthsparticipants will be able to complete 20-25 hours of training with each course via the online portal. The faculty may choose to organize virtual meetings as part of the online program. Online registration is available here.
