Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and TURKSAT conducted online training for 35 employees of Tanzania E-Government Agency

The online training “Introduction to e-Government Systems” was organized by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TKA) and TURKSAT for 35 workers from the Tanzania e-Government Agency.

Citizens’ expectations of government have increased due to rapid technological growth and change. Many governments have been able to offer a wide range of digital services thanks to this rapid evolution.

Turkey continues to set an example for many countries with its strong e-government practices and infrastructure, having successfully kept up with the digital transition of the 21st century.

Türkiye presented its experience of transition to e-government.

Friendly and brotherly countries benefit from the knowledge and experience acquired through the installation of the e-government system as part of the digital transformation.

TKA and TURKSAT organized online training on “Introduction to e-Government Systems” for 35 employees of the Tanzanian e-Government Agency, which is linked to the President’s Office.

The trainees reviewed the countries that have successfully transitioned to e-government systems and learned about Türkiye’s experience, organizational structure of e-government systems, best practices and cyber security during the training session.

TKA and TURKSAT were thanked by Mvulla.

At the closing ceremony of the programme, Dr Jaha Mvulla, Head of Research, Innovation and Training at the Tanzanian e-Government Agency, delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to learn from the experience of Türkiye, who had successfully completed its transition to the e-government system. Mvulla expressed his gratitude to TKA and TURKSAT and said they intended to work with Türkiye on other advanced training programs in the future.

In Tanzania, the next part of the training will be face-to-face.
