Rockstar Games recently announced that they will donate five percent of the revenue from their online games such as Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online to end the current COVID-19 pandemic.
“These funds will be used to help local communities and businesses grappling with the impacts of COVID-19, both directly and by supporting some of the incredible organizations that are on the ground to help those affected by this crisis,” said Rockstar Games said in their tweets. “As things move forward, we’ll be sharing more about these efforts.”

Grand Theft Auto Online was also very popular when it was launched, and still manages to be one of the most played online games today. GTA Online isn’t just popular with gamers, it’s an almost permanent place in the top games viewed on Twitch at any given time.
