SRINAGAR: Chairman of the Waqf board, Dr Darakhshah Andrabi, said on Saturday that the board had decided to introduce an online system for donations.
She also said that Waqf would soon build a cancer hospital in Jammu and Kashmir.
Andrabi told reporters that the donations were part of “Baitulmaal”, adding that “we will not allow any disloyalty with people’s donations”.
She said Waqf will soon launch an online system for donations and deliberations with J&K Bank on the matter are continuing.
She further added that a cancer hospital will also come up soon in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that the revenue will be generated from the assets, which will be used to construct a hospital.—(KNO)
