Free online training in September


The AAPEX Repair Shop HQ online training series concludes in September with two free sessions: “Navigating the Rapids Ahead” on Wednesday September 7th and “Underhood: Stop/Start System Diagnostics” on Monday September 19th. -minute sessions begin at 2 p.m. EDT.

The series will lead up to AAPEX 2022 which will be held from Tuesday, November 1 through Thursday, November 3 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.

In “Navigating the Rapids Ahead,” AAPEX says attendees will learn to prepare for any storms on the horizon, even if the typical repair shop today is busier than ever. It will touch on what happens when the going gets tough and include real stories from shops that will share ‘just in case’ safety briefings.

The training session, “Under the Hood: Stop/Start System Diagnostics”, will explain how to troubleshoot problems with stop/start systems, including stop/start system deactivation, replacement batteries , HVAC complaints, hard shifting and brake pedal issues, adds AAPEX.

AAPEX launched the eight-part Repair Shop HQ online training series in April to provide valuable technical training and management content for shop owners and managers. Sessions are produced by Store owner and Tire review.

AAPEX officially introduced the repair shop headquarters in 2021 as a dedicated space on the show to meet the needs of maintenance and repair professionals. The area, located on Level 1 of The Venetian Expo, includes Joe’s Garage – a store built with 10 fully equipped bays for product and equipment demonstrations – and four training rooms for technical and business management sessions. It will also include the new transmission suppliers section, as well as dedicated sections for diagnostics/telematics, alternative fuels, tire service and tools and equipment.
