Demand for online training among entrepreneurs is soaring

INSTITUTE Keusahawanan Negara Bhd (INSKEN) trained around 15,734 entrepreneurs nationwide through its online entrepreneurship training and coaching programs from April to July 2021, exceeding its target for the year.

According to an INSKEN report, revenue reached RM 5.6 million through its INSKEN Bumiputera Business Coaching (IBBC) programs, as well as its online integration coaching programs (EBoard).

INSKEN CEO Muhd ​​Firdaus Azharuddin said he has never stopped providing assistance to entrepreneurs through entrepreneurship orientation and training programs to ensure that entrepreneurs can grow in size of their business despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Muhd Firdaus also urged entrepreneurs to improve their business models and continue master other entrepreneurial knowledge such as sales and marketing.

Business model review can be done by participating in INSKEN’s online management plan review program.

“INSKEN successfully implemented eight EBoard programs last month as part of the government’s efforts to prepare entrepreneurs for the digital economy, with two of the programs recording over RM300,000 in revenue, while six others programs are still running, ”he said. at a virtual press conference yesterday.

According to Muhd ​​Firdaus, the EBoard program is specially designed to increase sales using online platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram and more.

INSKEN also implemented 23 four-month IBBC coaching programs this year with a RM 5.3 million increase in revenue from seven of its IBBC programs last month.

In addition to coaching, INSKEN offered a two-day training program through INSKEN Business Training (IBT) as part of its efforts to help entrepreneurs transform their businesses from conventional to digital.

“Entrepreneurs are starting to realize the importance of the digital transformation, as evidenced by the well-received IBT program.

“Last month, 13,387 entrepreneurs benefited from 290 training programs. In response to increasing demand, the IBT program will be added from time to time, ”said Muhd ​​Firdaus.
